Medication Aide – Part-Time (Day Shift)

Schedule: 6:45am – 3:00pm

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Part-Time Medication Aide to join our day shift team. The Medication Aide is responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring resident well-being, and assisting with daily care needs under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents receive consistent, high-quality care throughout their day.

Schedule:
Day Shift: 6:45am - 3:00pm

Part-Time position (flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately administer prescribed medications and document per facility policy and state regulations.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and accurate records.
• Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Current 40-Hour Medication Aide certification in the state of Nebraska
• Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
