What You’ll Experience With Us:
- Real-Life Medicine: Observe and assist with everything from routine preventive care to complex medical, emergency, and surgical cases alongside our skilled DVMs and technicians.
- Exam Room & Appointment Flow: Manage the cadence of outpatient doctor appointments, ensuring clients and pets are roomed efficiently, histories are taken thoroughly, and appointments run smoothly.
- Client Care & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the client and the veterinarian during outpatient visits—helping present treatment plans, go over discharge instructions, and educate pet parents.
- Medical Record Mastery: Assist the DVM in real-time medical record completion within our digital systems, learning proper medical documentation, diagnostic ordering, and case history tracking.
- Diagnostic & Prescription Support: Assist with preparing prescription refills, setting up diagnostic testing requested during exams, and coordinating outpatient follow-up care.
- Incredible Mentorship: Learn clinical reasoning, diagnostic workflows, and client communication directly from our team of doctors and senior staff in a supportive, teaching-oriented environment.

This role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. This Role is Perfect for You If:
- You are a college student or recent graduate on a pre-veterinary or veterinary technician track.
- You hold a CVA certification OR have prior clinic experience and want to excel in outpatient medicine and client care.
