CNA Trainee
Rate: $16.85 increases after certification
Full time or Part Time
Schedule: Must be available for training classes and clinical hours
Candidates must commit to the full training program and onboarding schedule, Part Time- or Full-Time opportunities are after training.
We are looking to add CNA Trainees to their team. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while participating in a Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and instructors, you'll learn the skills needed to provide compassionate care and support to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the facility's Certified Nursing Assistant training program
- Observe and learn resident care techniques, safety procedures, and infection control practices
- Assist with resident care activities as permitted under training program guidelines and supervision
- Practice CNA skills through demonstrations, return demonstrations, and supervised clinical experiences
- Communicate resident observations and concerns to nursing staff and instructors
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
- Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention protocols
- Attend all required classes, clinical training sessions, and educational activities
- Complete training assignments, skills evaluations, and competency requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the training program
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a high school equivalency program preferred
- Interest in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
- Ability to follow directions and maintain professional conduct
- Must successfully meet all program and facility requirements for participation in CNA training
