About the Job: As a growing team, we are seeking a dedicated Lead Paralegal to join our team. This role will serve as supervisor for all legal assistants on both the pre-litigation and litigation teams to ensure efficient processes, streamlined workflows and high standard of work. In addition, they will work directly with the firm owner in managing the highest value and most complex cases serving as a strategic partner and central coordination point. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of personal injury law, excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance oversight with hands-on casework.
Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise, mentor and support legal assistants in both pre-litigation and litigation departments
· Serve directly as legal assistant on the highest value and most complex cases
· Collaborate with firm leadership to improve case management systems and processes
· Review case status reports firm-wide then follow-up and guide as necessary
· Ensure that communication with all constituents on these cases is kept consistent and clear
· Perform regular check ins and create a culture of constructive/healthy feedback
· Assist in onboarding new legal assistants
· Identify challenges and/or issues in workflows and implement solutions
· Stay current on changes to the personal injury field and communicate those changes as necessary
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree
· 5 years experience
· 2 years experience managing a team
· Strong knowledge of personal injury law practice
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Experience in case management software. Experience in Filevine a plus.
· Microsoft Office Suite proficient
· Bilingual a plus.
