About the Role
The Trust Admin Paralegal plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and clients through trust administration and probate processes. This position focuses on organization, communication, and execution of administrative and legal support tasks to ensure matters are handled efficiently and with care.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients through trust administration and probate processes with regular updates via phone and written communication
- Prepare and draft legal documents including petitions, notices, and correspondence
- Assist with trust administration tasks such as asset inventories, document collection, and file organization
- Maintain and organize client files and case documentation
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties to ensure timely progress of matters
- Assist with administrative workflows and internal processes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Support attorneys with additional administrative and legal tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paralegal certification preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in trust administration, probate, or legal support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
