Delivery Driver for Electrical Distributor
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or employment in electrical industry is a plus but not a requirement.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the delivery vehicle
- Ability to build and package items for delivery
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, example - forklifts
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and a valid driver's license
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good communication skills to interact with customers
