Counter Sales Representative (Electrical Supply)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Counter Sales Representative / Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operation.

*in addition to hourly wage we also offer a commission plan for salesmen

Responsibilities:
1. Ensures accurate, responsive customer service is provided through day-to-day operations on the phone, at the counter, and via electronic communication.

2. Assists customers with product selection, answers technical questions, suggests various product options, and creates accurate, responsive quotations.

3. Provides alternative solutions and complementary products to increase the value for the customer and the company.

4. Provides customer service and service to the outside salesmen as required, expediting orders, solving problems, making vendor inquiries according to guidelines, etc.

5. Picks counter and will-call orders for quick turnaround.

6. Prepares timely quotations for customers and account representatives.

Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of technology sales and product features
- Knowledge of electrical sales is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
