We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Lead to oversee and optimize our facilities management processes. The Operations & Maintenance Lead Technician will fulfill an integral role in the Maintenance team by promoting and supporting the daily operations and activities of the Maintenance Department under the direction of the Director of Facilities. Additionally, the Operations & Lead Technician will assume leadership of the Maintenance Team in the absence of the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Previous maintenance experience
- A proven history and references that speak to success in facilities supervision and management
- Able to run landscaping/snow removal equipment
- Have a driver's license
- Have mechanical dexterity
- May require heavy lifting occasionally
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities
The Operations & Maintenance Lead Technician’s primary responsibility is to promote and support the daily operations and activities of the Maintenance Department under the direction of the Director of Facilities in addition to the following:
- Assume leadership of the Maintenance Team in the absence of the Director of Facilities
- Oversee school vehicles including maintenance and usage
- Oversee facilities set-up for school events in conjunction with School administrative staff * Landscaping and snow removal (including afterhours if needed)
- Furniture moving and set up for classroom changes
- Sports field preparation
- Snow removal and cleaning as needed
- Follow through with defects on Maintenance vehicles (basic troubleshooting and transportation to service shops)
- Performing projects as needed * Other duties may be reasonably assigned by the Director
Requirements
