WORK HOURS : The work hours of this position may require flexibility in order to meet production requirements. Some mandatory overtime may be required, and voluntary overtime may be available. Shift hours: 3PM – 1:30 AM Monday through Thursday.
Responsible for operating forklift trucks to perform all material handling assignments. Properly stores, transfers, ships and receives raw materials, packaging goods and finished products in a safe and orderly fashion. Maintains the quality of perishable items. Supplies processing and packaging rooms with proper supplies as needed.

- Operates and maintains power lifting equipment.
- Moves or lifts up to 75lbs
- Performs daily inspection and preventative maintenance of power equipment.
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, GMP’s and SOP’s.
- Responsible for overall cleanliness & organization of Warehouse.
- Ensures all lift truck batteries are charged, clean, & filled properly daily.
- Assists Warehousers as needed.
- Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HAACP support programs
- Assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards.
- Works in a safe, accident-free manner.
- Perform other duties as required or directed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to successfully attain powered industrial truck operating certification.
- Experience in operating hi-lo, fork truck, power jack and shrink wrap equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude, computer use knowledge, and good math skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Works in a safe, accident-free manner.
- Must be self-motivated and have good oral/written communication with others.
- Effectively communicates verbally and written with Team Members and Management
- Works respectfully with all team members to ensure the Safety, Quality, production and support of our products and goals on a daily basis.
Working Conditions/Environment
- Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, walk, reach, lift, grasp, climb and bend while working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
- The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment and non-toxic industrial waste and scrap.
- The noise level in the plant is loud. Earplugs, safety glasses and hairnets, beard nets (if facial hair exists) and steel-toed / slip-resistant shoes are required in the plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.
Salary : $19 - $23
