Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats or reservations.
- Manage guest waitlists and reservations with clear communication and organization.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle all cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance.
- Maintain a clean and inviting front-of-house environment, including host stand and cashier area.
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about the menu, reservations, or general questions.
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a memorable experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or Cashier in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills, including friendly phone etiquette and guest relations expertise.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality or restaurant experience is a plus; hotel experience is beneficial but not required.
