Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Dishwasher / Food Prep team member to anchor our kitchen operations on a 12:00 PM to approx 7 PM (5 days a week) schedule. In this vital role, you will arrive just as the lunch rush hits, bridge the afternoon transition with essential scratch-prep work, and lead the closing sanitation team to ensure the kitchen is spotless for the next morning. Key Responsibilities
- Lunch Support: Wash, sanitize, and restock guests dishes, bowls, trays, and cooking utensils to keep service moving flawlessly during peak hours. Support the front of the house by cleaning tables and collecting dishes.
- Mid-Day Scratch Prep: Utilize the afternoon gap to chop fresh produce, prep local proteins, and batch-prepare house-made sauces and bases for the dinner line.
- Nightly Closing: Kitchen breakdown by deep-cleaning the dish machine, sanitizing all workstations, and mopping the entire back-of-house.
- Waste & Restocking: Empty all kitchen trash, recycling, and compost bins before clocking out, ensuring the morning team walks into a fresh environment.
Shift Details & Expectations
- Schedule: 12:00 PM to Closing (typically 5 shifts per week, including weekends).
- Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week.
- Reliability: Because you are part of the closing team on your scheduled days, absolute punctuality and dependable attendance are strict requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Stamina: Ability to stand and move efficiently for 6 hour shifts
- Strength: Safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds (e.g., heavy dish racks, trash barrels, and food crates).
Compensation & Perks
- Hourly Rate (depending on experience)
