Social Media Coordinator - up to $30/hour
At The Marketing Dept. Colorado, we build bold brands with smarts, guts, and good vibes—and we’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help us do it. This role is all about strategy, storytelling, and community building. You’ll craft content that sparks conversations, manage engagement across platforms, and track performance to keep campaigns sharp and effective.

You’ll grow communities, boost engagement, and deliver social strategies that support our clients’ larger brand and marketing goals—all while collaborating with a creative, people-driven team that loves big ideas and bold results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client goals.
- Create engaging content (posts, stories, reels, video) for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
- Monitor conversations, respond to comments, and build authentic community connections.
- Track performance metrics, create reports, and optimize campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal creative and marketing teams to integrate social into broader campaigns.
- Stay current on trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas forward.
Qualifications:
- 5 years managing social media for brands or agencies.
- Proven experience running paid social advertising across multiple platforms, managing diverse campaigns and substantial budgets to deliver measurable ROI.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Data-driven with strong analytical and optimization skills.
- Collaborative team player with a creative mindset.
