We are seeking a dedicated,passionate and hard working person to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared according to our menu standards and food safety regulations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure all food is stored properly according to food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute menu items efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation for service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Skills
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
