Dishwasher

Summary: Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen and all kitchen equipment. Washes, cleans, sanitizes and stores all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other items used to operate the kitchen and dining room areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.

• Washes dishes, china, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Stores all dishes and equipment in dish room or designated area.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen work areas, walls, appliances and equipment.
• Maintains the dish machine by thoroughly cleaning, sanitizing and de-liming.
• Removes garbage and places it in designated receptacles.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
• Adheres to all Club safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:  Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.    Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the Club.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.   Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
