We are seeking compassionate and dedicated RN Charge Nurses who are ready to lead with heart, support their team, and help residents live with purpose and dignity.
Position Summary
The RN Charge Nurse oversees daily clinical operations on their assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care while supporting and guiding CNAs and LPNs. The Charge Nurse works closely with interdisciplinary teams, communicates effectively with families, and helps promote a positive, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate, person-directed nursing care to residents
- Lead, mentor, and support CNAs and LPNs
- Complete assessments, documentation, and care planning per state and federal standards
- Monitor for changes in condition and coordinate with providers as needed
- Foster teamwork, communication, and an inclusive, respectful work culture
- Ensure adherence to care plans, policies, and regulatory guidelines
- Support The Maples’ Eden philosophy of meaningful engagement and empowerment
Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license in good standing
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to resident-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive team environment
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time openings
- Day, Afternoon, or Midnight shifts may be available
- Every-other-weekend rotation
