Charge Nurse -Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Charge Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor resident conditions, update care plans, and perform thorough assessments
• Complete admissions, transfers, discharges, and related documentation
• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in accordance with regulations and standards
• Respond to emergencies, perform critical interventions, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Participate in ongoing training, in-service education, and quality improvement initiatives

Charge Nurse -Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply
