Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure safe and hygienic environments.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Clean floors thoroughly using floor care techniques suitable for various surfaces, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Manage manual handling of heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or large cleaning supplies safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways.
- Organize housekeeping supplies and manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, equipment, detergents, and sanitation procedures.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Good communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of outdoor work environments is a plus.
- Previous experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, or custodial duties is advantageous.
