Job Summary:
Viking Motel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming guest rooms and common areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong time management skills, and is committed to providing excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to motel standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock room amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly and stored safely
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Respond to guest requests in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
