Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Construction Supervisor to assist with our projects in Charleston, WV!

Key Responsibilities

The WVDOH Project Inspection Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily activities of inspection personnel across multiple transportation construction projects. This includes ensuring that all work performed by contractors complies with WVDOH specifications, contract requirements, and safety regulations. The supervisor interprets plans and technical documents, resolves field issues in real-time, and serves as the primary liaison between WVDOH representatives, contractors, and consulting teams. They oversee materials testing and sampling, ensure timely entry of material certifications and quantities into AASHTOWare Project (AWP), and monitor documentation for accuracy to avoid payment delays. The role also includes verifying pay item quantities, reviewing force accounts and change orders, and participating in project meetings, inspections, and final punch list reviews. Additionally, the supervisor mentors junior inspectors, providing on-site guidance and training to ensure quality standards and best practices are upheld throughout the duration of the project
