MSG is seeking an early‑career MEP Electrical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing MEP division. In this role, you will support electrical design and consulting for a broad range of projects, including commercial and industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure such as water and wastewater treatment systems, and roadway lighting, and agricultural digester facilities This position reports to the MEP Service Coordinator.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and design consulting services focused on:
- Electrical power distribution
- Lighting systems
- Communications design
- Knowledge about Fire Protection at this stage is not required.
- Perform electrical design and coordination for industrial and municipal projects, including water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Establish design criteria, conduct engineering calculations, and develop:
- One‑line diagrams
- Three-Line and MCC Bucket Wiring Diagram
- Control Schematics and design is performed by the IAC group.
- Electrical Power, Lighting, and Grounding plans and specification
- Details and Legends
- Review manufacturer data to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Support cost estimating, code review, field investigations, and technical report or memo writing.
- Provide engineering services during construction, including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFIs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam or ability to do so within one year of hire.
- Basic understanding and proficiency with REVIT and/or Auto CADD
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project).
- Experience using electrical power systems analysis software such as ETAP or SKM Power Tools. Desired but not required for hire.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high‑performance team environment.
- Interest in pursuing PE licensure (PE obtainable within three years preferred).
