Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate bather to join our team. As a bather, you will play a crucial role in the grooming process and work alongside knowledgeable groomers.
Duties
- Bathe pets according to breed standards and individual client requests.
- Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Provide basic pet care, including brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to management as needed.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide information on pet care services offered.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred.
- Experience in pet grooming or bathing is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
