What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Bather/Grooming Assistant position at Duxbury Dogs?
Duxbury Dogs is looking for a passionate and experienced dog bather/grooming assistant. The perfect candidate must have previous dog handling experience and be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Previous bathing experience not required but preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Bathe, dry and brush dogs
- Nail trims and pad shaves
- Assist groomer as needed
- Sanitize and disinfect tub, tables and kennels regularly
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Have previous animal handling experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
