Job Purpose
Process Engineers are required in our sites to support Manufacturing teams by focusing on technical elimination of losses and waste on the production line including, but not limited to, minor stoppage reduction, change over time reduction, elimination of RPM waste, support of digital related projects
The Process Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste, and zero losses. He/She will apply extensively the full range of Focused Improvement methods and tools to support losses identification and resolution (Safety, Quality, Business priority and Cost Deployment). The Process Engineer will be accountable for process capability, product quality and data build up through application of the Manufacturing Performance Model.
He/She will drive loss elimination across the manufacturing pillar with particular focus on the major losses. The Process Engineer is responsible for validation of all process improvements and establishing basic conditions on the line. Pillar and process engineers will collaborate with the Customer Service and Agility team regarding O2O (Outbound Tier) and S&OP improvement (Advanced Tier). Process engineers can suggest an automation solution to extract certain losses or participate in a factory automation project if they have relevant expertise.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $71,400 to $107,200. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Key Responsibilities
- Eliminate Waste and Loss according to the ICMS prioritization process using BPCD, FI, AM, PM, MP, QM methodologies.
- Create Technical Standards to ensure process stability on the line.
- Run to Standard (R2S) implementation: Data collection and analysis, prioritization of losses, problem solving, SMED, AM activities, definition and machine settings (Centerlines or Process parameters definition).
- Train line owners on technical standards and restoration of basic conditions (Stability sustainment).
- Identify and extend good practice to other lines.
- Provide inputs of EPM pillar MP data.
- Factory or CI improvement.
- NVAA reduction.
- Application and accuracy of MMP Code data.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Business acumen and financial tools, understanding of the Master plan, factory priorities and how manufacturing performance of the site correlates with its finance KPIs and BCS targets achievement.
- Manufacturing & Packaging technology, key on basic but consistent understanding of the manufacturing technologies of the Category to drive relevant process improvement.
- Engineering. Applied technical engineering skills (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Automation) to do practical problem solving.
- Technical drawings, drawing programs, 3D modelling, etc.
- Analytical capability, basics of statistics, basics of coding to collect and analyse complex data to be able to identify phenomenon and understand root causes.
- Process Design and manpower optimization, including NVAA reduction techniques. Leverage technical knowledge and systems approach to ensure factory lines and processes are optimally resourced (e.g. manpower ratios are efficient and sustainable).
- ICMS. Apply the full set of ICMS methods and tools to identify root causes, drive countermeasures and validate their effectiveness, mastery of FI, AM, PM, MP, QM and PD methods and tools. Establish standards to support line operations sustainment of basic conditions.
- Operational management and Bias for Action. By providing consistent and near real time information, decisions can be taken quickly which leverage our resources.

- 2 to 4-year degree in industrial technology or related field.
- Demonstrated electrical/ electronic/industrial controls skills.
- Expertise in industrial ammonia refrigeration or general refrigeration with ability to develop required skills
