Summary
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient support, ensuring our residents receive excellent care.
We are hiring for a 4am to 4pm or 4pm to 4am weekend warrior shift, working every weekend and alternating Mondays and Fridays. This position works 36 hours a week but is paid for 40.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a current license in PA or a temporary work permit
- Possess knowledge of: medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, correct use and care of equipment, observation techniques, reporting and recording, thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's application
- Be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution
- Maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderly
- Have awareness of cost containment, utilize time fully, and properly care for equipment
- Possess ability to accept and follow written and verbal directives
- Utilize good communication and observation skills
