Summary:
Loveland Center is seeking a dependable, part-time Maintenance Tech to support our Southern Region campus two day per week. This role helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the individuals we serve, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance Tech plays an important part in supporting Loveland Center’s mission by helping maintain our facilities and grounds so daily programs and services can continue smoothly and safely.
This position requires travel to North Port, Port Charlotte, and Fort Myers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain interior spaces, restrooms, and common areas
- Support upkeep of campus buildings and grounds
- Perform light maintenance and basic repairs
- Assist with projects such as moving furniture, power washing, and cleaning gutters
- Keep dumpster and recycling areas clean and organized
- Report safety concerns to the Maintenance Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Maintenance experience required
- Ability to use power tools safely
- Ability to push minimum of 50 pounds (power cleaning appliances)
- Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds (trash and supplies)
- Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) or higher degree
- Hold and maintain an active Florida driver license
- Ability to pass a drug screen, TB screen, and Level II background check
Loveland Center Inc is a AHCA-regulated facility. Florida law requires Level 2 background screening for all individuals working at such facilities.
