SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to perform various accounting functions for The Loomis Communities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the Payroll Administrator in the bi-weekly processing of payroll.
- Answers inquiries from staff regarding any payroll related issues.
- Maintains payroll variance spreadsheets.
- Assists in the processing of accounts payable transactions.
- Prepares general ledger reconciliations in conjunction with the monthly financial statement cycle.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able a college student majoring in Accounting.
- At minimum the candidate must have completed two years undergraduate work with a major in Accounting.
Salary : $18 - $22
