Live-In Lead Caregiver / Resident Manager (Adult Family Home) – Seattle Area 98177
Beachwood Manor AFH is seeking a reliable, experienced, and compassionate Lead Caregiver / Resident Manager to join our home.
This is a live-in position combining hands-on caregiving with light leadership responsibilities to help maintain a calm, well-run environment.
Compensation
- $5,000 – $5,800/month (based on experience)
- Paid bi-weekly (5th & 20th)
- Stable, long-term position
Living Arrangement
- Shared caregiver room – extra-large room (3 beds total)
- Private bathroom included
- Quiet area of the home
- Must be comfortable with shared living
Schedule
- 5 days on / 2 days off
- Structured daily schedule with designated work hours and rest time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care (ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers)
- Support and guide other caregivers
- Monitor residents, including dementia and behavioral needs
- Provide calm redirection and reassurance
- Follow care plans and maintain safety
- Maintain a clean, organized home
- Communicate with management, families, and providers
Qualifications
- CNA or HCA certification (Washington State)
- Experience in AFH, assisted living, or similar setting
- Dementia/behavioral care experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and leadership ability
- Good communication skills
