We're looking for a Wound Nurse who can:
- Assess, monitor, and manage wounds with clinical excellence
- Develop and implement wound care treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate staff on wound prevention and skin integrity practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
- Help residents heal while preserving dignity and quality of life
To be considered, candidates should have:
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- Wound care experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care
- Current wound care certification (WCC, WOCN, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Knowledge of current wound care standards, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- A positive attitude and a healthy sense of humor
