We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support daily non-clinical operations at The Lodge at Mills River. This role is essential in enhancing the comfort, cleanliness, and overall experience of our residents.
Important: This position does not involve direct patient care or clinical duties. Instead, PCAs provide essential supportive services that contribute to a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
We are committed to developing our team members. Qualified PCAs may be eligible for employer-sponsored Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and certification.

Key Responsibilities of Personal Care Assistant (PCA):
Deliver and replenish fresh ice water for residents regularly
Assist with meal service, including passing and collecting trays
Make and remake resident beds according to facility standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas
Tidy personal spaces while respecting residents’ belongings and privacy
Ensure supplies (linens, cups, utensils) are stocked and accessible
Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents and staff
Report any environmental concerns (spills, hazards, maintenance needs) promptly
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or custodial services is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality
