Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, including drink service and wine knowledge to enhance guest experiences
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely
- Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, or specials to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Experience in fine dining environments or with cocktail and spirits service enhances your candidacy
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of wine pairing, beverage service, and upselling techniques to elevate guest experiences
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
