What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Supervisor position at The Lodge at Blue Sky?
Join our team as a Receiving Supervisor for The Lodge at Blue Sky, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring that orders are received and processes followed in accordance with the company policy and business needs.
The key responsibilities for this position are:
- Own the receiving and invoicing functions in the procurement management system
- Maintain the beverage inventory system and related documentation
- Champion the procurement management system
- Manage supplier relations and validate invoicing to received goods
- Verifying purchase deliveries against submitted POs
- Utilization of standard purchasing practices to verify orders
- Assist with month end close including counting inventory
- Safeguard company assets
- Fulfill departmental beverage requisitions
- Report and review menu matrix and F&B cogs with the Director of Finance and Director of Operations
- Work to improve receiving systems and processes

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and professionally.
- Ability to work together as part of a departmental team and as a greater hotel team.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or similar position
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in computers and information technology
- Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred.
