Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and food safety standards
• Prepare and serve bagels, sandwiches, wraps and house made baked goods.
• Operate POS system(Square) to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food handling surfaces
• Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely service and high-quality offerings
• Manage beverage service and drink delivery to ensure customer satisfaction during busy periods
• Work efficiently alongside fellow employees

Skills

• Experience with food service operations, barista duties, or café environments is highly desirable
• Proficiency in using POS system (Square) for sales and cash handling
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing
• Excellent time management to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
