What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer - Church Marketer / Church Launch Coordinator position at THE LIVING BREAD?
About Living Bread
In a world pulling itself apart at the seams, Living Bread gathers something back together.
We are building a home for everyone who calls on the name of Jesus Christ — the Children of God, from every nation and walk of life — to do what the earliest church did: share freely. Gifts. Talents. Food. Shelter. Time. Prayer. Not as a transaction, but as a witness — so that the world sees, in the way believers love one another, the love of the One who first loved them.
There is no gate at the door. Christ does not check credentials. He has met the atheist, the Muslim, the agnostic, the Buddhist, and the Hindu, and called each of them by name — so Living Bread welcomes anyone drawing near to Him, wherever they're drawing near from.
At the center of it all is the practice, not just the belief: confession met with forgiveness, burdens met with prayer, need met with provision. Faith, made visible in works — "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:40) — until it becomes unmistakable, the way Christ said it would be: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John 13:35).
No ads. No algorithm deciding what you see. Just:
- A chronological family feed — nothing engineered, nothing hidden
- Daily Scripture
- Simon, an AI companion
- A live map of the Kingdom, showing believers serving their cities in Jesus' name
Living Bread is live on iPhone and Android — and we're now building the founding student leadership who will carry it, campus by campus, into the next generation.
Church Marketer
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." — Matthew 18:20
Position Summary
The Church Marketer brings Living Bread home to their own congregation and shepherds it through its first 90 days. You're the bridge between your church's leadership and the platform: you make the introduction, run the launch, and make sure it sticks.
Responsibilities
- Introduce — Present Living Bread to your pastor or leadership team. A 10-minute demo script and all materials are provided.
- Build — Help your church claim and build out its page: description, service times, ministries, announcements, and first Gathering.
- Launch — Plan and run Launch Sunday: a 60-second stage moment where the congregation scans one QR code and joins together.
- Support — Walk with members through their first 30 days. Offer install help after services, answer questions, and encourage first prayers and check-ins.
- Sustain — Build weekly rhythms around the Pulse question, announcements, milestones, and the Church Flame.
- Report — Report monthly to your leadership and to Living Bread on adoption, engagement, and what your congregation needs.
- Test — Use the app daily. Your congregation's experience is our roadmap, so your bugs and suggestions shape what we build next.
Qualifications
- A trusted, active member of your congregation — deacon, small-group leader, media volunteer, or simply someone leadership listens to
- Willing to seek your leadership's blessing to take this on (we'll help you make the case)
- Patient with less-technical members; faithful with follow-through
What You Receive
- Direct support from the founder
- Early access to all congregation tools, and a voice in what gets built for churches next

Ambassadors are our most important test group, so we want your instincts before you're even onboarded. As part of your application, spend some time in the app first — a few days is enough to speak from, a week gives you a real feel for it.

About Living Bread
Living Bread is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission: to call and bring together all who believe in the Name of Jesus Christ into unity. Under one Name, one God, and one Spirit. To glorify our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone gives life to the world. This is more than a cause, it is a communion. A fellowship of believers from every walk of life and every corner of the world, united not by mission alone, but by the Spirit of God. We are building a Kingdom not with human hands, but with hearts surrendered to the One who is the Living Bread, Jesus Christ who fills us, dwells within us, and calls each of us by name. Let us bring his Kingdom on Earth through love.
