Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Assistant. In this role, you will support teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children ages 15 months to 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Support children with individual needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring they feel included and supported
- Help manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies
- Supervise children during staff breaks and during afternoon activities
Experience
- Prior classroom experience or childcare work in settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is encouraged
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
