What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook / Prep Cook position at The Little Grill?
The Little Grill is looking for full and part-time line cooks and prep cooks.
The preferred candidate will be friendly, motivated, and efficient. They will have a team-oriented strong work ethic, a strong commitment to customer hospitality, a creative outlook, and experience in the restaurant industry.

Requirements:
All prospective employees must provide references, and be able to pass a background check. They must also be able to perform physical tasks normal to cooking, serving, and cleaning in a fast-paced restaurant environment, including but not limited to, standing, walking, bending for long periods, and lifting up to 25# on a regular basis.
Often, employees will start by washing dishes in order to get used to the flow of the restaurant, and then progress to prep and line cooking. More experienced workers will likely secure positions in prep and on the line much more quickly than those with less experience.
All applicants must be available between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM at least 3 days per week, including at least one weekend day. Shifts are an average of 7-8 hours long. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
