Commercial Business Development Representative
About the Role
Adler Windows is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Business Development Representative to help expand the recurring commercial service division throughout New York City.
This role is focused primarily on generating new business, developing relationships with property managers and commercial building operators, identifying service opportunities, preparing proposals, and securing recurring service agreements.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable conducting in-person outreach throughout NYC commercial properties. This is not an operations role. Once work is sold and approved, all projects are formally handed off to the Service Operations Manager for execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new commercial business opportunities through direct outreach and relationship-building
- Visit buildings, management offices, and commercial properties to introduce Adler Windows services
- Develop relationships with property managers, supers, facility managers, and ownership groups
- Target recurring service contracts and long-term commercial partnerships
- Conduct walkthroughs and identify repair, maintenance, and replacement opportunities
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and pricing using approved company systems
- Maintain all leads, opportunities, and proposals within BuildOps / CRM
- Follow up consistently on open opportunities and active proposals
- Coordinate with the Service Operations Manager to confirm operational feasibility before finalizing proposals
- Convert one-time work into recurring commercial service accounts
- Support the company’s long-term commercial portfolio growth strategy
Qualifications
- Experience in business development, outside sales, estimating, or commercial construction sales
- Strong networking and relationship-building ability
- Comfortable conducting field outreach and in-person prospecting
- Organized with strong follow-up and CRM discipline
- Ability to understand scopes, measurements, and service opportunities
- Experience using CRM or estimating systems required
- Window, glazing, façade, property management, or construction industry experience strongly preferred

Reporting Structure

Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, with performance-based incentives tied to overall growth, accountability, and business development performance.
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
