Position Overview
LifeWealth Group is seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized Estate Planning Paralegal to support our in‑house estate planning services. This role will work closely with advisors and clients to gather information, prepare estate planning documents using leading software platforms, and coordinate attorney review through our partnered estate‑planning software providers.
The ideal candidate has experience drafting wills, trusts, and ancillary documents, is comfortable managing client workflows, and thrives in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Intake & Fact Gathering
- Conduct structured intake interviews, collect financial and family information, and prepare client summaries for drafting.
Document Drafting
- Use estate‑planning software (e.g.,JustVanilla, WealthCounsel, EncoreEstate, ForeTrust) to draft:
- Revocable Living Trusts
- Wills
- Powers of Attorney
- Healthcare Directives
- Trust funding documents
- Amendments and restatements
Attorney Coordination
- Submit drafted documents to the supervising attorney (via software platform) for legal review and approval.
Client Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for document questions, signing logistics, and follow‑up.
Workflow & Case Management
- Maintain organized digital files, track case progress, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
Execution & Signing Coordination
- Schedule signings, prepare execution packets, and ensure compliance with state witnessing/notary requirements.
Trust Funding Support
- Prepare funding letters, asset transfer instructions, and follow‑up checklists.
Qualifications
- 3 years of estate planning paralegal experience
- Strong understanding of wills, trusts, and estate planning terminology
- Experience with estate‑planning drafting software (or ability to learn quickly)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Professional, client‑service‑oriented demeanor
- Notary Public (or willingness to obtain)
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
