Position: Kitchen Staff – Line Cook, Prep Cook & Dishwasher
The Lifestyle Sportsbar & Venue is looking for dependable, hardworking, and team oriented individuals to join our kitchen staff. We are currently hiring Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to help maintain a fast, clean, organized, and consistent kitchen operation.
Our kitchen team is responsible for preparing and executing The Lifestyle’s established menu according to our recipes, portions, presentation standards, and procedures. We are looking for employees who can follow direction, work efficiently, maintain cleanliness, and perform well in a fast-paced sports bar and event environment.
Line Cook
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items accurately and efficiently during service. This person should be comfortable working under pressure while maintaining consistent food quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Cook food according to The Lifestyle’s established menu and recipes
- Follow proper portions, cooking methods, and presentation standards
- Operate fryers, grills, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely
- Keep the cooking station stocked, clean, and organized
- Complete orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Communicate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house employees
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and management procedures
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Experience: 2 year of line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
Prep Cook
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients and food items so the kitchen is properly stocked and ready for service.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare ingredients according to management instructions and established recipes
- Wash, cut, portion, season, and organize food
- Prepare sauces, garnishes, sides, and other menu components
- Properly label, date, store, and rotate food
- Restock line cook stations as needed
- Monitor prep levels and communicate when supplies are running low
- Maintain a clean and sanitary prep area
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist Line Cooks and other kitchen staff when needed
Experience: 1 years of experience in previous kitchen or food-preparation experience preferred, but we are willing to train dependable candidates who are willing to learn.
Salary : $16 - $20
