The Account Manager will serve as a dual-function resource, primarily supporting commercial producers in the acquisition of new business, while also playing a secondary but strategic role in servicing and retaining existing accounts. The key responsibilities include:

Position Summary:
The Account Manager will serve as a dual-function resource, primarily supporting commercial producers in the acquisition of new business, while also playing a secondary but strategic role in servicing and retaining existing accounts. The key responsibilities include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Support:
- Provide comprehensive insurance product knowledge to producers and clients
- Analyze client operations and exposures to assess risk
- Obtain competitive quotes from carriers
- Prepare coverage proposals to assist in closing new business
- Bind coverage, manage applications, and update agency systems
- Servicing & Retention:
- Advise clients on coverage based on their operational risk profile
- Support retention by remarketing at renewal when appropriate
- Proactively manage middle market and specialized accounts
- Assist with strategic market blocking and carrier negotiations
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Clearly communicate complex insurance concepts to clients
- Coordinate with sales producers to ensure servicing alignment
- Remain current with industry developments and regulatory changes
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, college degree preferred.
- Active DOI P&C License required.
- Professional designation is a plus.
- Experience with EZLynx preferred
- Knowledge of AMS360 OR Epic system or similar agency management system.
- Good listening skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance and products.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
