We're proud to build resilient, future-focused projects across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast-and we're growing. We're seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to join our Infrastructure team and lead critical sitework operations on transformative projects across the region.

Position Summary

As a Civil Superintendent within the Infrastructure Department, you will oversee all field activities related to civil sitework on complex infrastructure and building projects. This includes supervising crews, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality, managing scheduling, and supporting the successful delivery of scopes such as earthwork, utilities, concrete foundations, site grading, and drainage systems.

Your leadership will directly impact the success of civil packages on a wide variety of projects-from flood protection systems to hospital campuses to high schools and data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for assigned civil construction scopes, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and schedule.

• Manage subcontractors, crews, materials, and equipment for sitework, utilities, foundations, and structural concrete.

• Coordinate with project teams on job sequencing, logistics, and work planning.

• Conduct safety briefings, enforce site-specific safety protocols, and maintain clean documentation.

• Maintain detailed daily reports including progress updates, delays, manpower, photos, and material logs.

• Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality compliance and timely punch list completion.

• Collaborate with field engineers, inspectors, vendors, and third-party agencies for inspections and approvals.

• Serve as a field liaison between Infrastructure team and vertical construction project teams (PMs, Superintendents, etc.).

• Drive workforce productivity, morale, and accountability while upholding LEMOINE's core values.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of field supervision experience in civil or sitework roles on infrastructure and/or vertical construction projects.

• Strong working knowledge of earthwork, utilities, drainage, structural concrete, and foundation systems.

• OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret civil/architectural drawings and manage on-site operations.

• Experience managing subcontractors, heavy equipment, and material logistics.

• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and trades.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to regional project sites.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience supporting civil scopes on building projects such as hospitals, schools, and industrial facilities.

• Knowledge of public works, Corps of Engineers, or state agency (DOTD, FP&C) project standards..

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

• Regular presence on active construction sites in outdoor conditions.

• Ability to walk, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate uneven terrain.

• Regional travel required based on project location and duration.
