Sage Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent for a long-term position overseeing civil construction projects from start to completion. This role is responsible for managing multiple crews, coordinating with project management, and ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple civil construction crews and foremen
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily and weekly work activities
- Supervise construction of lift stations, manholes, underground utilities, piping, and concrete
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with Project Managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and clients
- Enforce company safety policies and jobsite safety compliance
- Conduct site inspections, quality control, and progress tracking
- Assist with problem-solving, sequencing, and field coordination
- Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and daily logs
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent or Senior Foreman
- Strong background in:
- Lift stations
- Underground utilities
- Manholes
- Piping systems
- Concrete and civil/site work
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license
Technology Expectations
- Proven experience using Procore is required
- Ability to use smartphones and tablets for daily field operations
- Comfortable submitting daily reports, photos, RFIs, and documentation through Procore
- Ability to work with electronic plan sets, schedules, and digital communication tools
