Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system (Square)
- Serve food and drinks with attention to presentation and guest satisfaction, upselling menu items when appropriate
- Prepare beverages as a barista or bartender, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards
- Clear tables, bus tables promptly, and assist with food running or bussing duties to maintain a clean dining environment
- Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills and tips, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service roles such as serving, bartending, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or barista work preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset that thrives on providing memorable guest experiences
