The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a High School Math Teacher to begin in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Math professional that has experience working with students across a wide range of mathematical abilities and levels of preparation. This individual will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.
Responsibilities:
• Teach a range of high school math courses, with Calculus being an essential requirement.
• Inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential in mathematics.
• Motivate students to reach their full potential.
• Bring enthusiasm and expertise to the classroom.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop enrichment plans for students.
• Demonstrate an innovative and thoughtful approach to teaching students with diverse learning needs and strengths.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Pay Rate: $65,000-$90,000 depending on experience
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, Long-term and Short-term disability Insurance, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance, 403b
