Job Responsibilities of Forklift Operators
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Move products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
- Perform daily equipment checks to ensure forklift functionality and safety.
- Follow all facility safety rules and guidelines.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications of Forklift Operators
- Minimum 1 year of prior forklift operating experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments as needed.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Forklift Operators
- Exposure to varying temperatures throughout the warehouse (hot and cold).
- May be required to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and repetitive motion are required.
- Must be able to work safely in a physically demanding, fast-paced setting.
