The After-School Program Assistant supports daily administrative tasks while also assisting with basic safety, materials preparation, and activity planning within the center. This position plays an important role in supporting both the operational and programmatic needs of our after-school services.

The After-School Program Assistant supports daily administrative tasks while also assisting with basic safety, materials preparation, and activity planning within the center. This position plays an important role in supporting both the operational and programmatic needs of our after-school services.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage front desk operations, including phone calls, messages, scheduling support, and basic documentation
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures to ensure child safety
- Prepare materials for therapy sessions and group activities (e.g., organizing supplies, printing materials, setting up activity stations)
- Support activity planning by assisting with age-appropriate, structured after-school activities under staff guidance
- Help maintain organized therapy and activity spaces before and after sessions
- Monitor common areas to help maintain a safe, calm, and structured environment
- Assist with safety protocols as directed (e.g., awareness of emergency procedures, reporting concerns promptly)
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members
- May support client coverage in the event of a technician call-outs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- RBT Certification (Required)
- Experience in an office, school, daycare, or clinical setting preferred
- Interest in working with children and supporting therapeutic or educational activities
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a busy environment
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and center policies
- Ability to maintain a high level of attendance (Required)
- Build up to Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm-7:30pm
- Part-time position; schedule may vary based on program needs
Salary : $25 - $30
