The Learning Grove is looking for a caring and dependable Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team. This role supports the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for infants.
Our infant classroom focuses on consistent routines, gentle care, and early development. We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and truly enjoys working with babies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and daily routines
- Support a calm, safe, and clean classroom environment
- Follow schedules for naps, bottles, and activities
- Engage with infants through age-appropriate interaction and play
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Communicate appropriately with team members and leadership
- Follow all state licensing and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience with infants preferred, but not required
- Must be reliable and consistent with attendance
- Patient, nurturing, and attentive
- Able to lift, carry, and move infants as needed
- Must be able to pass background check
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00am-5:00pm - 1 hour lunch
