Lead Twos Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)

Location: The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle, New York, NY

Pay: $21–$25 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Lead Twos Teacher – Early Preschool Classroom

The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking an experienced Lead Twos Teacher to guide a classroom serving 2-year-old learners. This role focuses on helping children build independence, communication skills, and social-emotional confidence through engaging classroom experiences and structured routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom instruction and routines for 2-year-old children
• Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Support early language, social, and cognitive development
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom updates
• Ensure compliance with NYC childcare licensing requirements
  
  
  

Qualifications

• BA or AA in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted
• Candidates with 5 years of classroom experience and high school diploma considered
• Prior experience leading a toddler or twos classroom preferred
• Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
