Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap schedules, transitions, and play
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote sensory, language, and motor development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Communicate positively with families during drop-off, pick-up, and daily updates
- Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to support classroom success and licensing compliance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare experience is required (infant/toddler experience strongly preferred)
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements
