A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education or early childhood development, with fifteen hours in Early Childhood Education, and a few administrative duties. The duties of each teacher in a Child Development Center shall include the following: Assisting the Center Director in ensuring compliance with this Chapter,Providing and overseeing the provision of adequate supervision and appropriate care for all the children in their class or group.They plan and initiate daily activities based on the assessed strengths, interests, and needs of all the children in their class or group.She assists the Center Director in implementing the Facility's policies and procedures.Supervising subordinate staff, attending in-service training programs, and completing continuing education requirements as required.They communicate regularly with the parent(s) or guardian(s) of each child in their class or group about their child's development.Assuming responsibility for the program of the Facility in the absence of the Center Director, when so designated, and performing other appropriate duties as requested by the Center Director.Company DescriptionThe daycare is a small facility with a capacity for twenty-seven children. We have three groups of children ranging in age from six months to three years. The center yields itself to individual attention and a family-friendly atmosphere. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. Younger and older staff comprise the staffing body in a one-level building.
Salary : $63,840 - $73,000
