About the Role
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is perfect for a childcare professional who loves working with infants and understands the importance of nurturing care, routines, and early developmental support.
As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will help create a safe, warm, and structured classroom environment where babies feel secure and supported as they grow and reach early milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the infant classroom in a safe and nurturing environment
- Provide responsive care including feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized routines
- Engage infants in sensory play, music, language exposure, and movement activities
- Support early social, emotional, and physical development
- Communicate daily with families about routines, milestones, and progress
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow all health and safety standards
- Work closely with assistant teachers and leadership to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Previous childcare experience is required (infant experience strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, patient, and comfortable working a consistent 9:00am–6:00pm schedule
- Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
